Directions
By Car
From London take the M4 towards Bristol. From the North, Midlands and Wales follow the M5 south to Bristol.
From Bristol take the M5 south to Exeter. From Exeter take the A30 and exit at A39 for Truro. Follow signs for Helston and then the Lizard. Go past Culdrose Naval base and under a bridge. Take the first right after the bridge, signed to Gunwalloe and Church Cove. Drive through the village until you see the Halzephron Inn ahead. Turn sharp right just before the Halzephron and immediately after a white cottage. Follow lane down towards the sea. Chydane is the last house on the right. Turn into the driveway and park alongside the summerhouse.
Alternatively, from London, you can take the M25 and A303 to to Ilminster, then the A358 towards the M5. Follow the M5 south to Exeter, then use the directions above from Exeter to Chydane.
By Train
From London Paddington, take a South West train to Truro or Penzance. Both have excellent car hire at the stations.
By Air
From various airports several operators fly into Newquay. Again there is excellent care hire from here and the drive to the house takes under one hour in normal road conditions.
